University of Cincinnati Honors Program
About Me
My name is Ekeiso Imasuagbon, but most people call me Keso! I am a second-year student at the University of Cincinnati, and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. My major is health sciences and I plan to attend medical school post undergraduate and expand my knowledge on science, medicine, as well as impact my community. Travel is one of my greatest interests and I hope to further explore the world and address global health disparities in different countries. This is important to me as I’ve had the privilege to witness various types of people and less fortunate communities from a young age. It has fueled by passion for giving back to individuals in and out of my community as well as across the world in my home countries of Zambia and Nigeria. As I dive deeper into my undergraduate journey through the University Honors program, diversity and inclusion are important values that I seek to improve amongst my community. My hope is to grow my leadership qualities and provide guidance to other UC students across campus. Ensuring that students feel heard and that their goals matter is important to me on my journey through the University Honors Program.
